The Lumi platform gives moderators complete control during Q&A sessions. Whether it's remotely or from the control desk, moderators can label, group, and prioritize messages. They can directly respond to participants and propose answers to the chair. Moderators have complete control over the display queue to assist with alternating text and verbal questions for a balanced Q&A session.
Message moderation is enabled by default and limits can be set to 250, 1000, or 3,000 characters.
Moderators can pre-define a list of labels that both they and the participant can use to categorize messages.
Moderators can also create folders, and filter and prioritize messages to assist key stakeholders in their responses.
Moderators can respond directly to participants or append answers to questions and push them to the Chair. The message board is displayed to the chair and board of directors on remote devices.
Lumi’s virtual microphone allows organizations to integrate audio questions into virtual or hybrid meetings. To ask verbal questions, participants can dial in or use a virtual web microphone.
The speaker queue is displayed to the chair and board of directors on remote devices.
Moderators can alternate in-room and virtual questions, moving the order of messages in the queue and also tag similar messages.
Virtual microphone questions can be audio only or with video.
The Connector is an easy-to-use, wireless handset that puts a microphone in the hand of your in-room participants without the need to wait for a roving microphone.
When microphones are activated, participants can join a queue by following some simple on-screen steps.
The queue is displayed privately to the Chair who will call the participant to speak and the Lumi operator will make the participant's microphone live until the next question is called.
The previous speaker is then moved into the chair's spoken list.
Questions can be organized, prioritized, and displayed to the key stakeholders.
Proprietary handsets support text questions in-room of 127 characters.
Moderators can message individual handsets or all handsets from the in-room control desk.
The chairperson monitor differentiates moderator and participant messages allowing notes or assistance to be passed to the chair.
Any label that has been applied to a message will be shown to the right of the message and in-room and telephone questions will be labeled accordingly.
If a moderator has proposed an answer, this will be visible under the original message.
The monitor can be updated live at any point ensuring a balanced Q&A with in-room and remote participants.
