We have been working with Sporting Federations across the globe for many years, and we understand that your elections can often be complex. The addition of our technology and software is there to support you through the smooth running of your congress. Through our extensive experience over the years we can cater for any legislative requirement, most recently we fulfilled the need for two federations surrounding gender appointment within the respected councils.

From making your congress meetings more engaging, ensuring voting is secure and efficient and facilitating federation speaker queuing within the Q&A session. The Lumi platform will streamline your annual meeting or congress whilst meeting the strict requirements of your governance code. Our partnerships with international sporting federations began in 2016 when we started working with the International Olympic Committee following a tender process to be selected. We have conducted several successful voting sessions to elect new IOC members and executive board members, and in 2019 we facilitated the historic vote of Milano-Cortina as the host city of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Lumi can assist with email communications that are branded and themed to your meeting.

Training sessions are given to members joining online so they have full confidence when using the platform.

Lumi email members with their username, password, and instructions on how to vote and participate in the meeting.

A follow-up communication email is available to remind members to vote and to remind members of the virtual facilities available at the session.

The e-Voting Smartcards provide the ability to vote. This vote can be identified or anonymous depending on a Federations preference.

The Smartcard will be distributed to members ahead of voting. The Smartcard should be inserted into the top of the keypad in order to cast a valid vote.

For a secret ballot, these anonymous cards would be distributed to members to conduct, most commonly, elections.

The anonymity of the members is of utmost importance, and this process of distribution would be monitored by the scrutineers.

The Lumi platform supports audio or video questions via a Zoom integration which also facilitates interpretation.

Members simply click the link to join the meeting and allow audio from the computer if they wish to ask a question.

Members can listen to the meeting but also ‘raise their hand’ and await permission to then take the floor and speak.

Moderators can also create folders, which can be viewed via URL, or message tags to organize or filter messages.

Elections can be conducted on handsets or via browser and can include gender \ regional requirements.

Polling can be anonymous or identified and weighted voting and majorities such as simple majority, absolute majority, and 2/3 majority can be implemented.

Scrutineers can work with Lumi to determine when the poll is completed, at which point the President can be informed and the poll can be closed.

Results can then be displayed as per the meeting requirements; valid votes, abstentions, and percentages.

The onscreen presentation can be completely customizable, displaying the voting process with clear step-by-step instructions.

Constitutional amendments can clearly be displayed to the entire audience post scrutineers sign off.

Election results can be displayed in alphabetic or rank order with elected candidates clearly displayed

An identified results grid allows for a detailed, transparent, and identified voting display. Each Federation will be displayed detailing the direction on how they have cast their vote, in a text and color-coded fashion.

Reports can also be provided instantly to the scrutineers and president.

The Lumi platform has the ability to produce a full suite of reports, at any time.

Giving a full and transparent record of the meeting while providing an up-to-the-minute view on attendance.

Athletes can access the pre-registration platform from anywhere in the world and on any smart device.

Delegates simply enter their unique number to pre-populate form information which they can edit before submitting.

Email communications will be sent including credentials and instructions on how to access the platform, view documents, and pre-cast polls.

Instructions accompany each motion or election and once submitted, a vote confirmation is received.
